This depends on both your overall state of health and the nature of the condition for which you are seeking treatment.  Acute conditions may resolve with as few as one or two treatments, while chronic ones often respond best to a longer period of treatment – perhaps ten or more sessions. Your acupuncturist should be able to give an estimate within the first or second visit.
